Happy Birthday...to me!
Yep, the earth has traveled around the sun and here we are again. I'm older, but I'm not sure I'm any wiser.
Anyway, a friend does this every year on her birthday, so I'm going to give it a shot. Luckily, I only have 22 things to come up with (since my birthday is on the 22nd) while she has to come up with 27.
So...here is my list of 22 things about me...
The first story I ever wrote was about a rabbit. I was in elementary school and the teacher made the story into an actual book (cardboard and wrapping paper). It was left in the school library for other students to read. I regret that I didn't ask if I could keep it.
I'm a licensed private pilot and I have an Instrument Rating.
I once wanted to be a corporate pilot,
I took training (and graduated) to be a private investigator.
My favorite color is purple.
My favorite movie is an old black and white movie called Laura.
Actually, I love old movies. My dad and I used to watch them.
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Reapers is not the first book I've written. I have three other manuscripts that I've written that may or may not ever see the light of day.
My favorite food is Chinese food.
Yes, I like pineapple on pizza!
When I was 12 or 13, my parents told me I could choose a color to paint my room. I wanted purple, but my mother didn't like that idea so I had to pick something else. I chose the absolute ugliest shade of bright yellow I could find. :-D
I am a night owl.
Making this list is a lot harder than I thought it would be. lol.
I had an article published in Atlanta Magazine.
I love watching British Mystery Shows.
I prefer hot tea in the morning instead of coffee, but I drink both.
I got sick after drinking beer one time and although I try one every now and then, I never can drink more than a few sips.
I do, however, like a good white wine or almost anything with gin.
My Grim Reaper story takes place in Boston. It's one of my favorite places in the world.
If I had a choice of anywhere I could live, it would be by the ocean.
I have no tattoos, but I told a friend I would get one of a tiny grim reaper when my book gets published. We'll see...
I think I'm glad my birthday is the 22nd and not on the 30th or the 31st. Ha ha.
