Well, I knew it was going to happen. I just wasn't expecting it to happen quite so soon. But here we are...yes, it's been over a month since my last blog post.
Not that it matters, I guess, because if you go by those analytics, Wix likes to show you whenever you look at your monthly, weekly, or whatever, statistics...I'm mostly talking to an empty room here. But, I did have kind of a personal goal to do one of these blog posts each week as a creative writing exercise for myself, but yet, somehow, I still managed to muck it up. Big time.
So...what have I been doing with my time, you ask? Or, someone would ask, if they were actually here reading this, which they aren't...or...are they? If there is someone out there reading this...maybe leave me a comment, okay?
But, anyway, after some friends threw me an awesome birthday party on February 24th, life took several twists and turns, and all thoughts of blogging went right out the window.
There were some follow-up visits for the ongoing medical issues (which I will go into more detail about at some point, but I'm just not ready to talk about all of that, yet...empty room or not...), some craziness with one of my freelance writing clients, and a half-hearted attempt to work on writing Book Two (I say half-hearted because I did a little here and a little there, but the medical stuff and the freelance stuff kind of put a damper on getting any serious book writing time in).
So, yeah, the blog writing stuff went way, way, way down on the list of things to do. Right below "create a newsletter" if that tells you anything. (Because I STILL haven't done that either...)
Anywhoo, I guess that's it for this edition of "talking into the void." Join us here next week (hopefully) for more of the same. Or not. We'll see...
